ANSWERS GROUP NETWORKING ACTIVITIES 


​With our off-site group networking opportunities, you'll get the very best of conference networking. Choose from six group activity options on Monday afternoon: Golf, e-Bike Tour of the Truckee River, Kayaking on Lake Tahoe, White Water Rafting, Resort Pool, Catamaran Cruise on Lake Tahoe. 

All group networking event registrations are completed through the conference registration form, and details for each activity are listed below. If you have already registered for the conference and want to sign up for an activity, please contact us at [email protected].  Mortgage Servicer, Investor & GSE attendees receive a complimentary pass to one networking activity of your choosing. 

All group activities, except for Golf and the Pool, will be held offsite.  Round trip transportation will be provided by shuttles for offsite activites.

GOLF | $230

ANSWERS 2025 Golf Activity - Presented by Global Strategic
Experience the beauty of California's premier golf destination. This par-71 championship course spans 6,931 yards at 6,200 feet elevation, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. Precision is key on the narrow layout, with tree-lined fairways on the front nine and picturesque wetlands on the back. Don't miss the signature 6th hole, a par 3 with an over-the-water approach and panoramic views of Olympic Valley's peaks. Enjoy strategic play and immerse yourself in the natural splendor of Lake Tahoe at The Links at Everline.​​

We will be playing at The Links at Everline Golf Course that is located at the resort.  The Golf Shop (Sports Shop) is located on Level 1 (the level below the lobby).

You will be playing in 3-4 person team scrambles, 2-putt max on each hole (no mulligans).  Shotgun start at 12:30 PM, you will need to be at the course by 12:00 PM and may proceed directly to your carts (no golfer registration). All golfers are required to conclude play by 5:30 PM, in order to make it to the evening dinner in time. 

Beverage cart will be available and
beer, seltzers and other non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks are covered by ALFN (other items may be purchased at your own cost).  You may also get items at Sandy's Pub and Oasis Bar at the pool at the turn (there are QR codes on the course to place your orders ahead of time and pickup at the turn). 

Each golfer will receive a sleeve of golf balls (courtesy of Bernstein Burkley), a cigar cutter and divot repair tool (courtesy of Global Strategic), and a cigar (courtesy of Diaz | Anselmo) on your golf carts.
  

Prizes will be given for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placing teams and Contest Holes. Contest holes will be: Hole-in-One (Hole #3, #6, #14 & #16), Longest Putt (Hole #9), Longest Drive Men's (Hole #13) and Ladies (Hole #4) & Closest to the Pin Men's (Hole #3) & Ladies (Hole #14). Names of all winners will be displayed on an easel sign at Monday evenings dinner.  Any prizes will be shipped after the conference concludes, no awards ceremony at the conference. 

No golfer registration is required at the course, proceed to the golf shop to get any golf supplies, or proceed directly to your golf cart that will be labeled with your names. 

Club rental is $45 (purchased through the ANSWERS conference registration form). If you forgot to get a rental set on your registration, you can purchase those if extras are available with the course directly in the golf shop.  No golf shoe rental available.

Dress Attire – All players are required to wear appropriate golf attire. Collared shirts or mocks are mandatory for men. Denim blue jeans, tank tops without sleeves, tee shirts, jogging or gym shorts, cut-offs, halter tops or bathing suits are not permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times. Golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes are acceptable. Bare feet, flip-flops, and baseball or track-style cleats are not acceptable.

e-BIKE tour along the truckee river | $495

MONDAY, JULY 21, 1:45-4:30 PM
Arrive to Valet Area of Resort to Load Shuttles at 1:30 PM
​Enjoy a leisurely tour along the beautiful Truckee River. Guides will cover the unique history of the Truckee River, as well as other natural and human history topics of the area. Guests will thoroughly enjoy the beauty that envelops them while they cruise along the river pathway!  These are electric bikes, so the electric motor assists with your pedaling.  The tour will be on a paved path.

Your activity will start with about 10 minutes of instruction. There will be a guide for every 8 bikes.  You will be on the bike for about 2 hours.
 
What to wear & bring - Helmets will be provided and are required to wear. 
Hat/cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; layers for cooler temps; close-toed shoes recommended.  Bring a rain jacket in case it rains.
 
Please don’t bring any valuables or large bags. You can bring your phone if you can keep it on you and secure it.  This activity will proceed if it rains.  

Must be at least 10 years old, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  300 lb weight limit per participant.  All participants will be required to sign a waiver, which you may complete online at

There are bathrooms available at the starting point of this activity at the transit station.
 
This activity is being held along the Truckee River, located approximately 10-15 minutes from the Everline Resort.  Shuttles will depart from the Valet area at the front entrance of the resort at 1:45 PM, and will return by departing the ending point of the activity around 4:15 PM (we will be back at the resort around 4:30 PM).  
 
Price includes all activity fees, helmet, bottled water, food (granola bars and trail mix) round trip transportation, gratuities and taxes.  
 
Accommodates up to 20 people.

Itinerary:
  • 1:30 PM: Transportation Arrival (1 large minibus) at Everline Resort Valet Area outside the front entrance and Begin Loading
  • 1:45 PM: Transportation Departs Everline Resort Valet Area

Kayaking on lake tahoe | $300

MONDAY, JULY 21, 1:30 - 4:45 PM
Arrive to Valet Area of Resort to Load Shuttles at 1:15PM
​After an introductory lesson, kayakers will head out on the water for a 2-9 mile paddle on Lake Tahoe (distance will depend on pace of the group, stops, and limited to 2 hours on the water). Guides will point out ecology, geology and other natural and human history. Paddle along the scenic coastline of Tahoe Vista and Carnelian Bay and capture a unique glimpse of some of Tahoe's most beautiful waterfront homes.

Your activity will start with about 15 minutes of instruction, and we will be using tandem kayaks (500 lb weight limit per tandem kayak, or 300 lbs for single rider kayak). There will be a guide for every 8 kayaks.  You will be paddling most of the time.  You will be on the lake for about 2 hours.
 
What to wear & bring - Life jackets will be provided and are required to wear on the lake.  Be prepared to get wet.  Wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty that have a heel strap/back (no flip-flops, no bare feet), shorts/bathing suit, t-shirt (having shorts over bikini bottoms is most comfortable on the raft), sunscreen.  Sunglasses with a strap to keep them on your head, most baseball hats will fit under helmet.  Towels will be provided on the shuttles by the hotel.  You may bring a change of clothing to leave in the shuttle, and may change in the restrooms at Tahoe Vista Beach.
 
Please don’t bring any valuables or large bags. You can bring your phone on the water, but only if you are comfortable losing it in the lake.  We recommend a waterproof lanyard phone holder that can strap securely to you or around your neck to store your phone during the trip.  This activity will proceed if it rains.  

Must be at least 8 years old, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  300 lb weight limit per participant.  All participants will be required to sign a waiver, which you may complete online at

There are bathrooms available at the starting and ending point of the kayaking at Tahoe Vista Beach.
 
This activity is being held on Lake Tahoe starting from Tahoe Vista Beach, located approximately 30 minutes from the Everline Resort.  Shuttles will depart from the Valet area at the front entrance of the resort at 1:30 PM, and will return by departing the ending point of the activity around 4:15 PM (we will be back at the resort around 4:45 PM).  
 
Price includes all activity fees, life jacket, bottled water, food (granola bars and trail mix) round trip transportation, gratuities and taxes.  
 
Accommodates up to 80 people.

Itinerary:
  • 1:15 PM: Transportation Arrival (1 large minibus) at Everline Resort Valet Area outside the front entrance and Begin Loading
  • 1:30 PM: Transportation Depart Everline Resort Valet Area
  • 2:00-2:15 PM: Activity Instruction and Prep. Time at Kayaking Location

White Water Rafting | $350

MONDAY, JULY 21, 12:30 - 5:30 PM (will arrive back between 5:00-5:45 PM)

Arrive to Valet Area of Resort to Load Shuttles at 12:30 PM
​The Truckee River rafting excursion begins with relaxing Class II boulder gardens and swimming pools and increases in intensity. Halfway through the trip, the rapids become larger and closer together until we reach the top of the Floriston Gorge. The river narrows, becomes steeper, and descends its last mile through a series of Class III and III+ rapids including Jaws and the Bronco Rapids.

Your activity will start with about 15 minutes of instruction to help rafters feel comfortable while out on the river, as well as ongoing instruction from guides while on the river. Each raft will have a guide and 4-6 additional people.  You will be paddling about 30-40% of the time.  Guides will be assignment everyone to rafts based on weight and your paddling skills.  You will be on the river for between 2-4 hours depending on how fast the river is moving.
 
What to wear & bring - Life jackets and helmets will be provided and are required to wear on the river.  Be prepared to get wet.  Wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty that have a heel strap/back (no flip-flops, no bare feet), shorts/bathing suit, t-shirt (having shorts over bikini bottoms is most comfortable on the raft), sunscreen.  Sunglasses with a strap to keep them on your head, most baseball hats will fit under helmet, water or other non-alcoholic drinks, but the water container must have a loop that can attach to the boats (no loose bottles as they will fall in), extra sun layer (not cotton!) for on the river.  Towels will be provided on the shuttles by the hotel.  You may bring a change of clothing to leave in the shuttle, but there is no place to change other than a few outhouse bathrooms.
 
Please don’t bring any valuables or large bags. Must be at least 5 years old, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  300 lb weight limit per participant.  All participants will be required to sign a waiver on the shuttles on the way to the activity.

There are outhouse bathrooms available at the starting and ending point of the river rafting.

 
This activity is being held on the Truckee River, with the starting point located approximately 30 minutes from the Everline Resort.  Shuttles will depart from the Valet area at the front entrance of the resort at 12:45 PM, and will return by departing the ending point of the activity between 4-4:30 PM depending on how fast the water is moving (we will be back at the resort between 5-5:45 PM).  
 
Price includes all activity fees, guide, life jacket, helmet, bottled water, round trip transportation, gratuities and taxes.  
 
Accommodates up to 50 people.

Itinerary:
  • 12:30 PM: Transportation Arrival (2 large minibuses) at Everline Resort Valet Area outside the front entrance and Begin Loading
  • 12:45 PM: Transportation Depart Everline Resort Valet Area
  • 1:15-1:45 PM: Activity Instruction and Prep. Time at Rafting Location
  • 1:45-4 or 4:30 PM: Activity Time (actual on the river time)(this is the max on river time, depends on river flow)
  • 4-4:30 PM: Board Shuttles at Activity Location to Return to Everline Resort (depends on when the group gets off the river)
  • 4:30 PM: Depart Activity Location to head back to Everline Resort
  • 5-5:30 PM: Arrive Back to Everline Resort (back by 5:45 PM at the absolute latest) 

Everline Resort Pool | $175

MONDAY, JULY 21, 1:00-5:00 PM
Experience leisure at Everline Resort & Spa's outdoor Oasis pool complex, featuring a recreation pool, plunge pool, waterslide, children's pool, and whirlpools.  The pool will be open to resort guests, but we will have two cabanas for your use (fits up to 8 people in each Cabana with 4 chairs inside each Cabana and 4 chairs in front of each Cabana by the pool)(Cabana’s are first-come first-served, and you may not reserve spots for others in the Cabanas).  If the Cabana’s are full, you may use any of the lounge chairs and umbrellas around the pool area. Towels are available at the pool.  You may get food & beverages at the Oasis bar at the pool or from any of the pool attendants that will be walking around taking orders.  Please show your wristband that you will be provided by the ALFN when you register for the conference to the Oasis Bar or any pool attendant for your food & beverage charges and gratuities to be placed on the ALFN's master invoice.
 
What to wear - Swim attire or other appropriate leisure attire, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses.
 
This activity is being held at the Everline Resort Oasis Pool Complex.      
 
Price includes all activity fees, food, beverages, gratuities and taxes.

Catamaran on Lake tahoe | $275

Private sailing charter on the illustrious Sierra Cloud, a magnificent 55' catamaran sailing gracefully on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Inhale the breathtaking scenery of the lake’s northern and eastern shores while relaxing on webbed mesh netting and watching the turquoise water pass below, or catch the panoramic views from the deck on cushioned seats.

Wine, beer, hard seltzer, non-alcoholic beverages and light appetizers are provided on the 2-hour cruise.

 
What to wear and bring with you: Wear appropriate clothing for the weather that day, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Camera, Hat.  If you are prone to motion sickness, please take the necessary precautions as this is a large boat that will be on a large body of water that may get choppy at times.

This activity is being held on Lake Tahoe and starts at Carnelian Bay located approximately 30 minutes from the Everline Resort.  Shuttles will depart from the Valet area at the front entrance of the resort at 1:15 PM, and will return by departing the ending point of the activity around 4-4:15 PM (will be back at Everline Resort around 4:30-4:45 PM).  

Price includes all activity fees, food, beverages, round trip transportation, gratuities and taxes.

Once dropped off, activity participants should go directly to the end of the public pier located in front of Gar Woods Restaurant for boarding which will start at 1:55 PM.

MONDAY & TUESDAY, 7:00-8:00 AM - SIGN UP REQUIRED FOR EACH DAY
Join us for a session of yoga on Monday and Tuesday mornings during the conference, led by a yoga instructor from Everline Resort. We will provide towels, water and mats to enjoy while getting your mind and body ready for the day. Yoga will be held inside at the Everline Resort in the Monument Peak Room (on Level 1 of the main lobby building, 1 level below the main lobby).  If you are attending yoga on both days, please take your yoga mat with you after the first day and bring it back with you on the final day.  After Tuesday's yoga session, you may either leave your yoga mat in the room, or take it home with you.

Accommodates up to 30 people each day.

NATURE HIKE | $0 (Complimentary) ​
MONDAY & TUESDAY, 7:00-8:00 AM - SIGN UP REQUIRED FOR EACH DAY
Start your day with a leisurely stroll through the serene beauty of the Everline Resort nature trail, winding along the foothills of the Resort Chair ridge. This relaxed morning hike invites you to embrace the tranquility of the forest, as you meander among the trees and connect with the peaceful rhythms of nature. Join us for an easy-going adventure that rejuvenates the mind and soul.
 
Activity departs from the main lobby of the Everline Resort at 7 AM, and will be led by ALFN Board Members Deanne Stodden (Messner Reeves) and Jim Timberlake (Baer Timberlake).
 
The Nature Trail starts near the ski left on the left side of the golf course.  Walking casually will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.  When you get to the end of the trail after about a mile, which ends just before you get to the parking lot at Palisades Tahoe, you will turn around and walk the same trail back to Everline Resort.  The trail is mostly flat, but there are a few small inclines and declines.

What to wear – Appropriate shoes for walking on a dirt and rock path, and dress in layers and it can be cooler in the morning.
