ANSWERS GROUP NETWORKING ACTIVITIES 

​With our off-site group networking opportunities, you'll get the very best of conference networking. Choose from nine group activity options on Monday afternoon: Horseback Riding, Jeep Tour, RZR Side-by-Sides Tour, Fly Fishing, Electric Mountain Bike, Culinary Competition, Ziplining, Wine Tasting or Golf. 

All group networking event registrations are completed through the conference registration form, and details for each activity are listed below. If you have already registered for the conference and want to sign up for an activity, please contact us at [email protected].  Mortgage Servicer, Investor & GSE attendees receive a complimentary pass to one networking activity of your choosing. 

All group activities, except for Yoga, Golf, and Fly Fishing, are being held at the 4 Eagle Ranch (30 minutes from the Park Hyatt).  There is plenty of parking at the ranch and we will also be providing round trip transportation by shuttles.

Conference & Activities Registration

CULINARY COMPETITION | $230

MONDAY, JULY 15, 1:15-3:15 PM

It's time for a good old-fashioned Chili Cook Off & Mixology Competition!  You will be paired into teams of 6 people.  Each team will be given a cooking area complete with a burner, a pot, cooking utensils and ingredient choices for the chili and mixology.  The mixology portion of the competition will allow each team to make a mountain mule and an old fashioned.  There will be enough for each team to sample your mixology creations, and your team will turn in one mountain mule and one old fashioned for judging.  Each team will prepare their chili first, followed by the mountain mule and old fashioned.  While your chili is simmering, each team will prepare their mixology drinks and will come up with a 30-second presentation about their chili and drinks. This presentation can be in the form of a commercial, a skit or even a jingle. Teams will also be asked to decorate their cooking stations/tables as well as their presentation plate and mixology drinks to the judges. After approximately an hour each team will be asked to make their presentation to the judges in front of the entire group. The judges will then cast their ballots and recognize the winning teams in the following categories – Best Tasting Chili, Best Tasting Mountain Mule, Best Tasting Old Fashioned and Overall Best Presentation/Commercial. Teams will then have the opportunity to taste their competition's chili. Gluten free chili options will be available.  Additional fruits and bitters will be available to make the mixology drinks your own.

ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKE | $310

MONDAY, JULY 15, 1:15-3:15 PM

All participants should be an avid mountain biker, so no first timers are allowed. Quietkat Electric Bike Tour. Ride along on a new "Fat tire" dual suspension electric bike. This bike is pedal assist and has nine gears to help you zip along a custom-built track around 4 Eagle Ranch. The course is up and down and all-around fun, with short slopes about 15 ft. at a 45-degree angle!  There will be a guide riding with you.  Must be able to lift 69 lbs and be at least 5' 5".  Helmets provided.  Participants will need to sign waivers.
 
What to bring with you - Light jacket, Shorts or pants, Closed-toed shoes, Pads (only if you want them, not necessary), Sunglasses.

Fly fishing | $310

MONDAY, JULY 15, 12:30 - 5:00 PM
Total activity time with transportation will be 12:30-5 PM

This is a catch and release fly fishing trip, and you will be fishing with waders.  Travel time is minimal since your fishing guides have access to the beautiful Eagle and Colorado Rivers as well as several small mountain streams, just minutes from the Park Hyatt. You will spend time wading in a scenic river filled with wild trout with a professional guide’s personalized instruction – everything from refining casting technique to mastering the basics of fly fishing. We will be pairing everyone into groups of 2-3 people per guide.   
 
What to bring - Closed Toed Shoes (no crocs or flip flops), Comfortable Clothing, Sunscreen, Hat. 
 
What is provided – Waders, Fishing Equipment (Rod & Reel, Flies, Terminal Tackle), Water.
 
You will need to purchase a separate fishing license prior to participating for $19.97.  The online link will be sent you to for completion.  You will also be required to sign a waiver.
 
Your fishing guides will pick you up at the front entrance of the Park Hyatt at 12:30 PM in their personal trucks, and you will return to the Park Hyatt by 5 PM.  There will be an individual to assist you in getting in the correct vehicles at the Park Hyatt.  Approximately 5-30 minutes of travel time to get to your fishing destination, depending on traffic.
 
Price includes all activity fees, water, round trip transportation, fishing gear, gratuities and taxes.

ANSWERS 2024 Golf Activity - Presented by XOME

​We will be playing at the Beaver Creek Golf Club only .4 miles away from the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. The Beaver Creek Golf Club, nestled against the slopes of Beaver Creek Mountain, is one of the longest established golf courses in the Vail Valley. Opened in 1982, the course was designed by noted course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and is known and respected for its long, narrow, challenging fairways and its stunning scenery.

You will be playing in 3-4 person team scrambles, 48 players max.  We have tee times every 10 minutes from 11:50 AM - 1:40 PM that you will be assigned to. All golfers are required to conclude play by 6:00 PM, in order to make it to the evening dinner in time. Shuttles are available from the Park Hyatt to transport you and your clubs, just download the Village Connect app to request a ride in the app.  Beverage cart is not in service.  There are two holes on the course with beverages and snacks, hole # 5 & 11.  Each cart has a small cooler that will have two bottles of water, and you can pick up beverages at the pro shop to add to the cooler before teeing off.  Prizes will be given for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placing teams and Contest Holes. Contest holes will be: Hole-in-One, Longest Putt, Longest Drive Men's and Ladies & Closest to the Pin Men's & Ladies. Any prizes will be shipped after the conference concludes, no awards ceremony at the conference.  No registration required at the course, proceed to the pro shop to check-in.  Club rental is $85 (purchased through the ANSWERS conference registration form). If you forgot to get a rental set on your registration, you can purchase if extras are available with the course directly in the pro shop.  No golf shoe rental available.​

Dress Attire – All players are required to wear appropriate golf attire. Collared shirts or mocks are mandatory for men. Denim blue jeans, tank tops without sleeves, tee shirts, jogging or gym shorts, cut-offs, halter tops or bathing suits are not permitted. Shirts must be worn at all times. Golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes are acceptable. Bare feet, flip-flops, and baseball or track-style cleats are not acceptable. 

Horseback Riding | $220

MONDAY, JULY 15, 1:30-3:30 PM

Your activity will start with an informational safety and demonstration talk to help riders feel comfortable while out on the trail. The unique ranch setting offers breathtaking views of the Sawatch Range, Castle Peak, and Red and White Mountain.  Horses are matched with you based on experience, weight, and personality, all in order to make your horseback riding experience relaxing and stress-free.
 
What to wear - Long pants and layers if you are coming early or late in the day. Enclosed shoes are required, no sandals. Please wear a hat if you are not wearing a helmet. Rain slickers without hoods are provided in the event of rain, which is frequent on afternoon rides. Please bring any additional rain gear you see fit, and a fleece or a sweatshirt if the weather report calls for it. Please apply sunscreen prior to your arrival (sunscreen available at the stables if you need more).
 
You may bring a water bottle. A tote bag will be provided to you upon your arrival so that you can carry any additional items you may need, your water, and extra clothing. Please don’t bring any valuables or large bags. Helmets are available.  

Must be at least 6 years old and weigh no more than 280 lbs.  All participants will be required to sign a waiver.

JEEP TOUR | $275

See incredible mountain ranges surrounding the Vail Valley from the comfort of a customized Unlimited Jeep Wrangler.  Along the way, you’ll pass by fields of wildflowers, hear stories about our local history and possibly experience a chance encounter with local wildlife.  Be sure to bring your camera for some of the best picture-taking opportunities out there. Come along with us for an adventure you’ll never forget. Each jeep is enclosed and will have a professional driver/guide and 3 passengers.  You will be required to sign a waiver for this activity.  Blankets, panchos, water and snacks are provided on the jeeps.
 
What to bring with you: Wear closed-toe shoes and shorts/pants, Jacket, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Camera, Hat.  Time on the Trail - 3 Hours.

RZR Side-by-sides | $285

Drive a new 2024 Polaris RZR 1000 XP Side X Side through one of the most diverse ecosystems in Colorado, viewing stunning volcanic formations. We will have 4 seater and 2 seater options available.  This guided tour will give you the freedom of 14,000 acres of magnificent Colorado backcountry, as well as miles of private side x side trails at the ranch.  Must have a valid drivers license to drive the RZR’s, and you may switch drivers at the stopping points on the tour.  Participants will be required to sign waivers.  All tours include professional guide, beverages, snacks, helmet, goggles, and neck gator. Panchos are also available.  Water and snacks are provided.

​Vines at Vail Winery is a character-driven, modest mountain winery specializing in handcrafted, small lot wines from grapes sourced in California, that honor their winemaking heritage.  You will receive five 3 ounce tastings, and up to two additional 5 ounce glasses of wine.  Pizza (including gluten free options) and a charcuterie board will be provided.  Each participant will also receive a 375 ml bottle of wine as a gift compliments of the ALFN.

ZipliNING | $350

Join Zip Adventures of Vail for a high flying zipline experience – ranked one of the top ten zip lines in the world! The tour has 6 different ziplines over Alkali Creek. This Colorado zipline tour will take you 200′ above the creek and the longest zip line is 1000′. Their highly trained staff is dedicated to showing you the environment in a safe, eco-friendly way and educating you on the flora, fauna, and wildlife. This adventure will get your heart pumping and you will come away having experienced the ultimate adrenaline rush. If you haven’t yet tried Ziplining in Colorado you’re in for a special treat and memorable lifetime experience you will never forget.
 
What to bring - Closed Toed Shoes (no crocs or flip flops), Comfortable Clothing, Sunscreen, Hair Tie for Shoulder Length Hair.  Please do not bring anything that might be dropped, we might not be able to recover it in the steep canyon.
 
What is provided - Zipline Gear, Helmet, Safety Briefing, Snacks & Water.
 
Please don’t participate in this activity if you are pregnant.  Max weight to participate in this activity is 250 lbs. You will be required to sign a waiver.
 
This activity is being held at the 4 Eagle Ranch with Zip Adventures, located approximately 30 minutes from the Park Hyatt.  Please check-in with the designated staff member from Zip Adventures once you arrive to 4 Eagle Ranch to check-in for this activity.  You will then be loaded into military trucks that will drive you to the zipline course on the ranch property.  Shuttles will depart from the front entrance of the Park Hyatt at 12:30 PM, and will return by departing from the 4 Eagle Ranch at 4:30 PM (we will be back at the Park Hyatt by 5 PM).

EVERY MORNING, 7:00-8:00 AM - SIGN UP REQUIRED FOR EACH DAY

Join us for a session of yoga each morning of the conference. We will provide towels, water and mats to enjoy while getting your mind and body ready for the day. Yoga will be held inside at the Park Hyatt in the Gore Range Hall.  Thank you to our ALFN certified yoga instructors:  Natalie Grigg & John Hearn.
